How to ESTABLISH A BRANCH OF REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE?
Companies/enterprises with many other business locations other than the registered head office of the company can register in the form of establishing a branch/representative office of the company or a business location to operate legally. Regarding the form of operation, depending on the needs of the Company to choose accordingly. Each form has its own unique characteristics.

a) Branch:
Being a dependent unit of the enterprise, responsible for performing all or part of the functions of the enterprise, including the function of authorized representative. The branch's line of business must be consistent with the business line of the enterprise.
The branch can be selected to operate as a dependency or as a stand-alone. Characteristics of the dependent branch: Business lines like the parent company.
However, invoices and documents must be issued directly by the parent company. At the end of the year, financial statements, tax finalization with the parent company. Independent branch: Being allowed to do business as a parent company, to be ordered to print invoices and export directly to customers. b) Representative office:

c) Business location:

NOTE: The amended Decree 108/2019/ND-CP allows the Company to open a business location outside the area where the Company's head office is located. Thus, the company can register to establish arbitrary business locations throughout the territory of Vietnam.
