US Tourist Visa

US Visit Visa
If you have a father, mother, brother, sister in the US and you want to come to the US to visit them, you can apply for a US visa under the family visit category.
Documents to prepare to apply for a family visit visa are as follows:

WHAT DOES THE US VISA ALLOW YOU TO DO?
🔸 Tourist visa type B1/B2 is valid for 1 year, allowing you to enter the US multiple times for the purpose of tourism, visit relatives, medical treatment or short-term work.
🔸 The number of days you can stay in the US per entry will be recorded in your passport by the immigration officer and is usually 180 days from the date of entry. You should not stay more than this allowed number to avoid trouble or difficulty in applying for a visa next time.
🔸 Upon entry, the staff will stamp your passport, but when exiting, do not pay anything, because after checking in, you go straight to the boarding gate and do not need to go through exit procedures.
🔸 The expiration date indicated on the visa is also the last day you can enter the US and can stay up to 180 days. This is different from many countries in the world, where the expiration date indicated on the visa is also the date you have to leave their country.
🔸 Having a US visa does not guarantee you will be allowed to enter their country. When entering at the border gate, the immigration officer will ask you a few questions before deciding whether to allow you to enter their country or not.
🔸 Asking more or less depends on the number of stars * located below the sticker on your visa. This number of stars is marked by the visa officer based on the reliability and transparency of the information you provide when completing the D160 application and at the interview.
🔸 Usually, the following 3 cases are encountered: 1 star (*), 2 consecutive stars (**) and 2 separate stars (* *). 🔸 From the 2nd entry onwards they will ask less. And from the 2nd visa onwards, the number * on the visa will be less (usually 1 *).
WHICH COUNTRIES HAVE US VISA IS FREE?
During the validity of your US visa, you will be exempted from visas of the following countries:
Americas:
Mexico: allows a maximum stay of 180 days. The US visa must be valid for more than 6 months from the time of entry into their country.
🔸 Colombia: allows a maximum stay of 90 days. The US visa must be valid for more than 6 months from the time of entry into their country.
🔸 Costa Rica: allows a maximum stay of 30 days.

🔸 Antigua and Barbuda: allows a maximum stay of 30 days.
Europe and Asia:
🔸 Albania: Maximum stay of 90 days is allowed. Your US (or Schengen or UK) visa must have been used at least once.
🔸 Bosnia and Herzegovina: Maximum stay of 90 days is allowed.
🔸 Georgia (Georgia): Maximum stay of 90 days is allowed.
🔸 Montenegro: Maximum stay of 30 days is allowed.
🔸 North Macedonia: Maximum stay of 15 days is allowed.
🔸 Serbia: Maximum stay of 90 days is allowed.
🔸 Korea: If you have a US visa and you are flying from Vietnam to the US, connecting to Seoul, you can visit Korea for up to 72 hours without applying for a visa. It is imperative that you have a flight ticket for the flight from Seoul to the US within the next 72 hours from the time you enter Korea.
