Which countries do Thailand exempt from visas?
Thailand exempts visas for many different countries from time to time.
- Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Korea, Peru. The governments of these countries have bilateral visa abolition agreements with Thailand that do not require Visa 90 days.
- Hong Kong, Laos, Macao, Mongolia, Russia, and Vietnam have bilateral agreements with Thailand allowing them to stay with Visa under 30 days.
- Cambodia, Myanmar for airfreight can stay up to Visa 14 days.
- Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece. Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg. Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman. Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa. Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates. United Kingdom, United States allowed to stay in Thailand with Visa under 30 days.
Note: Holders of ordinary passports are exempted from visa when visiting Thailand for a period of less than 30 days. Visa exemption is allowed up to 2 times a year when entering by land or water but there is no limit for air.
